DANYELLE GRAY, WOMANISH Co-Founder: 

Danyelle Gray began her love affair with event planning nearly a decade ago while attending the University of Missouri. At Mizzou, she helmed the university’s Department of Student Activities where she was responsible for the planning of large-scale campus events including concerts. In YEAR, Danyelle graduated from Mizzou with a Bachelors of Science degree (businesses administration with an emphasis in marketing) and a Bachelors of Arts degree (communication with an emphasis in organizational)—and has since parlayed her education and experience into a successful professional career working in the marketing departments for top Fortune 100 and 500 companies (H&R Block, Field Marketing Manager, 2014; Viacom: Digital and Linear Sales Assistant, 2015; and CBS Radio: Marketing and Promotions Coordinator, 2016). As the co-founder of WOMANISH, she is leading the marketing charge, managing the marketing campaigns for the movement, the pre-programming events, the ongoing panel series “Discover Your Ish,” the WOMANISH Exhibit and more—all while holding down her day job as a marketing manager at Coca Cola. Danyelle is an avid animal lover, a family girl at heart, and a strong believer in womxn empowerment. To that end, she hosts a podcast with her sister, Dionna Gray, called “Girl Do Better.” Danyelle is also devoted to giving back to her community by volunteering at organizations such as N. Finite Hands and the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, as well as at her church in Naperville.
