Emily Dahlquist, Creative Director

Emily Dahlquist is dedicated to the art of production in Chicago, NYC, and beyond as a globally recognized event producer, curator and creative director of experiences. After graduating from Columbia College Chicago in 2014 with a degree in live, performing and visual arts management, Dahlquist worked at experiential branding house Mosaic for 2.5 years, producing experiences for some of the world’s top brands (Sephora, Amazon, Microsoft, Bacardi, StubHub, Nestle, Bud Light). From 2014 to 2019, Dahlquist co-led Canvas Chicago—a network of artists and creative professionals—as director of production and development. There, she produced myriad high-profile activations including the Activate 2018 series for the Chicago Loop Alliance and the Rolling Stones 50th Anniversary at Art Basel, a collaboration with Sub Chroma. Dahlquit’s resume also includes a stint as the in-house studio manager for artist Dzine.

In January, 2019, Dahlquist took an experiential producer position at HYPNO in NYC where she worked for seven months. An independent project of note includes the production of a 12-room/20,000-square-foot M A N I A Experience for Fall Out Boy in Chicago. Today, she splits her time between Chicago and Brooklyn, creating and producing worldwide exhibitions, large-scale brand activations, and intimate-scale engagements independently and with various co-curators and cultural producers via her own collective, The Super Producers. As creative director for WOMANISH, Dahlquist is spearheading all production, design and curatorial progression for the movement.
